Since the 1950s, GOLDRING has been developing and producing magnetic styli for playing records. The legendary Model No. 500 had two different sapphire styli for 78 rpm shellac records and 33/45 rpm LPs and singles. LPs and singles. This magnetic system was not only used in numerous BBC studios, but also laid the foundation for GOLDRING’s worldwide success as a renowned hi-fi manufacturer.
Today the GOLDRING portfolio comprises seven magnet systems, ranging from the entry-level models E1, E2 and E3 to the G series. Only the three moving coil cartridges Eroica, Elite and Ethos are in a higher league.
Even GOLDRING’s smallest MC system, the Eroica, enjoys worldwide popularity due to its very good price-performance ratio, fantastic sound and universal application possibilities on medium to light tonearms.
The recently launched top-of-the-range GOLDRING Ethos turntable features a number of high-tech features designed for optimum sampling and sound quality, such as a diamond cut with a special profile, an aluminium needle carrier, coils wound on a cross-shaped armature, optimum butyl rubber damping and an extremely light but powerful neodymium magnet.
