Martin Klaassen is an old hand in the hi-fi business, having been involved in the distribution of consumer electronics products since the early 1970s. In 2012, he founded his first distribution company, IDC Klaassen International Distribution & Consulting oHG. The company is based in Lünen, near Dortmund. For the experienced sales professional, the impetus for setting up his own company was the need to “finally use my connections in the specialist trade, some of which have grown over decades, to sell outstanding products that meet the needs of particularly demanding audio and video fans”.. 
Martin Klaassen has a good chance of achieving these ambitious goals: After all, the sales professional has more than 50 years’ experience in the EU industry. In 1975, the then 21-year-old trained retail salesman joined his first employer as a field salesman and remained with the company for almost 26 years. After an accompanying After completing his MBA, he soon held senior positions there, including sales director. He then moved to another audio manufacturer as Managing Director Germany, where he later took over responsibility for worldwide sales. As a former member of the board of directors of the High End Society e.V., Martin Klaassen has always been committed to the exclusive distribution of high-quality audio products. The sales manager of IDC Klaassen oHG is Uwe Kuphal. The sales professional has been successful in the audio industry for many years – most recently as sales manager for a well-known loudspeaker manufacturer in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The office sales team consists of Christian Stamms, a graduate in economics and office manager, Sven Weischenberg, a logistics expert, and Christina Stamms-Klaassen, who is responsible for social media and public relations. The sales team is also supported by freelance sales representatives.
Q Acoustics is a British loudspeaker manufacturer whose products range from compact hi-fi speakers to stylish high-end models offering excellent value for money.
IsoTek, the second English brand offered by IDC Klaassen, ensures optimum power supply for hi-fi and home cinema systems. Its power splitters, mains filters, generators and accessories delight high-end enthusiasts all over the world.
High-quality audio and video cables are the speciality of renowned British manufacturer QED. The range includes speaker cables, RCA cables, HDMI cables, USB cables and fibre optic cables.
Integrated amplifiers and pre-amplifiers, as well as CD players with valve stages, are the speciality of the Slovakian high-end manufacturer CANOR, for which IDC Klaassen has been responsible for distribution in Germany since spring 2020.
With the British specialist Blue Horizon, IDC Klaassen’s dealers have a particularly high-quality range of analogue audio accessories in their assortment – for example, a special electronic component for faster cable insertion or classic phono add-ons.
Karl-Heinz Fink has been responsible for the development of loudspeakers for various international manufacturers for decades: since 2018 he has been offering his own high-end loudspeakers with the FinkTeam, and in May 2022 the first new loudspeaker from the traditional English brand Epos, which Fink recently took over, celebrated its debut.
And the cartridges from the traditional English manufacturer Goldring, as well as the accessories for handling analogue records from Stable 33.33 and Milty, continue to fit perfectly into the IDC portfolio.
